Biofairnet - Executive Board Meeting

BIOFAIRNET Executive Board Meeting

On 17 July 2025, the leaders of all Work Packages in the BIOFAIRNET project gathered online for an Executive Board Meeting. This key internal coordination event aimed to:

  • Monitor the effective and efficient implementation of the project;
  • Review progress and ensure alignment with the Consortium Plan.

The meeting was structured into two sessions:

Morning session: Project management tools

The day began with the presentation and discussion of three fundamental project management tools:

  • The Data Management Plan (DMP): detailing the handling of data generated and collected throughout the project.
  • The Quality Assessment Plan: outlining the processes for monitoring deliverable quality.
  • The Financial Interim Report Tool: designed to facilitate the preparation of the first interim financial report.

Afternoon session: Progress review by work package

In the afternoon, each Work Package leader presented the work conducted during the first six months (M1–M6), along with an overview of upcoming activities. The session provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s multi-faceted structure:

  • WP1 – State-of-the-Art Analysis and Assessment Strategy.
  • WP2 – Multi-dimensional Sustainability Assessment.
  • WP3 – Green Information Factory.
  • WP4 – Pilot Site 1.
  • WP5 – Pilot Site 2.
  • WP6 – Validation and Replicability Assessments.
  • WP7 – Communication and Dissemination.

The Executive Board Meeting served as a valuable opportunity to ensure all teams remain aligned, informed, and coordinated for the months ahead. The consortium will continue working collaboratively to deliver impactful results and drive forward the transition toward a sustainable bio-circular economy.
