Sustainable impulses from the CleanTech Innovation Summit 2025

On May 28, 2025, the third CleanTech Innovation Summit took place at the Cleantech Innovation Park in Hallstadt, Germany. Under the headline “Cleantech as a game changer – sustainable innovation for tomorrow”, around 200 experts from business, science and politics came together to discuss pioneering technologies and sustainable solutions.

The event was chaired by the well-known moderator Petra Bindl and offered a varied programme with keynotes, panel discussions and interactive formats. High-profile personalities such as Prof. Dr Veronika Grimm, member of the German Council of Economic Experts, enriched the discussions with well-founded impulses.

The focus centred on topics such as clean energy, the circular economy and the mobility transition. The researchers Andreas Kormann and Kilian Nölscher took the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and gain valuable insights into current developments. On behalf of the University of Bayreuth’s Faculty of Engineering Science, they represented the FORAnGen research network and the Horizon Europe project BioFairNet. The knowledge gained is directly incorporated into the ongoing research activities of the Chair for Engineering Design and CAD and strengthens its expertise in the field of sustainable technologies.
