The BIOFAIRNET project, represented by Unitelma Sapienza University of Rome, will take part in the final event of the SUSTRACK project titled “Projects2Projects: Showcasing Key Results, Inspiring New Opportunities”, to be held online on 28 October 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.
An Event to Foster Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange
As SUSTRACK reaches its conclusion, this final event marks an important milestone to reflect on the project’s achievements while opening the floor to future cooperation. Organised in collaboration with the European Bioeconomy Network (EuBioNet), the workshop will act as a bridge between concluded, ongoing, and newly funded Horizon Europe projects working on standardisation, certification, labelling, and monitoring in the bioeconomy.
The event will begin with a presentation of SUSTRACK’s main results, followed by a dynamic Projects2Projects roundtable featuring BIOTRANSFORM, CEE2ACT, HARMONITOR, STAR4BBS, SUSTCERT4BIOBASED (BIOBASEDCERT Cluster), ROBIN, and 3-CO. Each project will share exploitable tools, resources, and lessons learned to inspire further innovation and cooperation across the bio-based sectors.
A second key session, the Policy2Projects roundtable, will bring together representatives from the European Commission and the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU). Their insights will provide forward-looking recommendations based on the ongoing revision of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, helping projects align with evolving policy priorities and funding opportunities.
Unitelma Sapienza will represent BIOFAIRNET during this exchange, showcasing how the project supports greenhouse gas-intensive sectors—such as agriculture and mining—in their transition towards a sustainable bio-circular economy. Through its digitally cooperative network, BIOFAIRNET promotes stakeholder engagement, co-creation, and testing of innovative bio-based solutions, directly contributing to the shared goals of SUSTRACK and its sister projects.
The event will conclude with an interactive open mic session, offering newly funded and ongoing projects the opportunity to introduce their work and connect with peers in light of the insights shared throughout the morning. This session will further encourage knowledge transfer and collaboration across the European bioeconomy community.
