This December, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry partners working on circular economy, bioeconomy, and sustainable transition will gather at the University of Ferrara for three days of scientific exchange, practical workshops, and community-building.
The Biofairnet project will take part in Bioeconomy Day 2026 through a dedicated online workshop organised by project partner UNITELMA Sapienza. The webinar, “Assessing sustainability in emerging bio-based value chains,” will explore how Environmental and Social Life Cycle Assessment (LCA and S-LCA) methodologies can be applied to evaluate the sustainability of innovative bio-based systems.
The Biofairnet project was present at the 9th Environmental Conference of Macedonia (EcoMacedonia 2025). Project partner CERTH (Centre for Research and Technology Hellas) represented the project and contributed to the scientific programme through a poster presentation delivered by researcher Lefteris Melas. The event brought together researchers, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and environmental experts to discuss pressing challenges and innovative solutions in sustainability and environmental management.
